Hi! My name is Caitlin Guimaraes. I was born and raised in Minnesota and have lived in Bemidji for the last 20 years. I worked at Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union for the last 5.5 years as a loan officer and personal banker. I did everything from budgeting and balancing checkbooks to helping people finance their dream vehicles, boats and RVs. My favorite part of being a loan officer was interacting with members each day. I loved having people in my office and learning about them and their lives. I found pride and joy in having those close interactions and seeing how I was positively impacting others. I recently decided to take a leap-of-faith to change my career to impact people on a more personal level with companion care, pet care and home care.
Other info about me:
I have two kids in grade-school, Scarlet and Olive. We spend a lot of time together playing dolls and talking about school and friends. Scarlet is learning to play the guitar and sing while Olive is learning gymnastics.
I have been a dog-person all of my life and love animals. I lost my dog, Petrie, around a year ago and haven't been able to bring myself to getting another pet yet. I have also had a hedgehog which was one of the cutest little creatures. It would get mad sometimes and roll into a ball, stick out its quills and hiss. It was adorable.
