About
Many years ago in a land far away (Clearbrook), a teenage Paul had an idea.
He had just quit his job working at the family business, Clearbrook Lumber, and was planning to try a small farming operation. His farming experiment included strawberries. His brother and sister-in-law gave him this T-shirt for Christmas of 1976 in anticipation of the upcoming berry season. His mom took time to water the plants with a hand pump.
The next year he went to work for a bee keeping family and his work took him away from home in the summer. His mom stepped in again with a pickup load of grandkids for picking.
The dream wasn’t completely forgotten. At the holiday table there were many stories of “remember when you that that crazy idea??” But college happened, then law school, then 36 years of a law career.
Then comes wife Cathy. She wants horses. And not just a boarding situation, she wants to take care of them. Then comes 40 acres known as 707 Oak Hills Rd SW near Bemidji. Paul who retired in 2019 suddenly had this idea of a dream he once had.
