North Valley Health History
NVHC began in 1905 when community members built the first hospital. It was known as the Warren Hospital until 1981. The present facility was constructed during this time in 1958 along with the clinic addition in 1977. From 1981 to 1994, NVHC was known as Warren Community Hospital.
Over the years, NVHC changed from being a solely acute care facility to an inclusive health center offering a variety of primary medical services.
In 1994, the facility name was changed once again to North Valley Health Center to better reflect the many and varied medical services being provided to area residents.
In fall of 2013, NVHC opened a newly constructed facility attached to the Good Samaritan Society.
