The person employed will supervise the hals and grounds before, during and after school. Applicants must communicate effectively, maintain interpersonal relationships, and have conflict resolution skils. HEALTH PARAPROFESSIONAL This is a school term, 6.5 hours/day (730 a.m. - 230 p.m. with a half hour duty free lunch) position with the Early Childhood Program at the Paul Bunyan Center. This position is job level 4 ($19.15-S1952 per hour) or job level 9(523.85-524.21 per hour) position. If the person hired holds a current license as a LPN or RN, the person will be compensated at job level 9. the person is not an LPN or RN, but holds a current CPR and first aid cer- tificate, the person wil be compensated at job level 4. Preference wil be given to those applicants that hold a current license as a LPN or RN. SPECIAL EDUCATION PARAPROFESSIONALS These are job level 4 (519.15-S1952/hour), school term, variable hours per day positions that assist in the instrue- tion of students. Positions may be avalable in the following areas: SPECIAL EDUCATION- candidates must be able to lift, change diapers, assist with special medical procedures and restrain students (training wil be provided). students may have individual education plans in regular and special education settings; BEHAVIOR MANAGE- MENT-candidates should have experience working with children who have behavior and/or emotional problems. Because behavior paraprofessionals may need to physically restrain students on occasion, applicants must be in good physical health and willing to restrain students after receiving training PARAPROFESSIONAL FOR SEVERE/ PROFOUND-persons in these positions work with students that are developmentally handicapped. In addition to assisting with academic instruction, candidates must be able to lift, change diapers, assist with special medical pro cedures, and restrain students, training will be provided. Applicants must have two years of study at an institution of higher education (AA, AS, 60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits) or a minimum score of 460 on the ParaPro Assessment. TRANSPORTATION DISPATCHER/CLERK This is a school term, job level 1 (517.10-517.481, 6.0 hours per day (10.00 am. to 5:00 p.m. with a one-hour duty free lunch) position at the School District Transportation Building. Duties indude dnpanching information for stu- dent transportation, updating student transportation records, and general office duties. CUSTODIANS These are twelve month, Monday-Friday, full and part-time, job level 2 positions. The hourly wage is $1756-$18.11 with an additional $.90 per hour shift diferential for the days indicated in the Minnesota School Employees Asso- ciotion for Custodions and Maintenonce Employees working agreement. Benefits indlude health imsurance; paid vacation and sick leave, and paid holidays BUS TECHNICIAN/DIESEL MECHANIC This is a twelve month, full time position with competitive wage and benefit package, including paid sick leave and vacation, paid holidays and health insurance. The main function of this position is to assist the Fleet Manager in the maintenance of the district's fleet and the physical plant of Transpor- tation. The successful applicant must be able to pass a pre employment drug test, a criminal back ground check, and obtain and maintain a commercial driver's license with a school bus endorsement. Experience/education in the field of medium to heavy duty truck maintenance and ASE certification s preferred.
