While they are water resistant, they are not completely waterproof. The best thing to do if you accidentally get the hearing aids saturated is to remove the battery (if possible) and place the hearing aids in a hearing aid dryer. Electronic hearing aid dryers work by using a combination of air and heat to dry out the hearing aids. Non-electronic hearing aid dryers use desiccants to remove moisture from the devices.
